Fred Nah....Latest Chat with Writer, Director and Singer

"With every setback in your life, God has a greater comeback!" Fred Nah
Some people you meet and there's this incredible energy about them..maybe it's their smile that grabs your attention or their firm hand shake or even just the way they talk. Fred is one of those guys with a fantastic smile along with a charming personality with a spirit of giving and inspiring others in this world. He's one of a kind with a vision to pursue what he wants out of life and one who supports his family and friends along the way.

In this interview, meet Fred Nah who is from Atlanta. He's a creator who loves to create moments in time....any and everything in entertainment in film and music.  With that being said, one can't be surprised that he's a writer, director, singer, dancer and so much more.  He is making waves in the entertainment from Los Angeles and Atlanta, and he's going to make a big splash in 2017. You'll  see him on the big screen this year along with his album that will debut this year.

Learn more about who he is and who he wants to work with in the industry.

You wear many hats and simply put is that you have the gift of entertaining from singing to dancing to acting and directing and writing as well. Was there anybody or a certain event that inspired you on this journey and why?

I come from a predominantly suburban area and attended one of the most prestigious schools in North Metro Atlanta (Northview High School). When you grow in in an environment like that, you have no choice but to succeed, especially as a minority. There was a young guy named Garland Hun who was two years older than me. He was an actor, singer, dancer and everything in between and had this charisma, spirit, and talent that inspired everyone. I'm not sure if he knows this, but he pushed me to be what I am today. Here's a guy that comes from my background that is successful. To this day, he is one of my biggest inspirations. That and also this is the only thing I'm good at, so I have no choice but to press forward and ultimately inspire millions on a global scale like he did in my life.

Since I mentioned hats in last question, I notice you wear "Chozen Style" hats quite a bit, is that one of your favorite brands?

Yes, I am the co-owner of the apparel line representing our brand out west. Many are called, but few are "Chozen".

You're chief executive of Phoenix 4 Productions and the mission of Phoenix is to have a positive impact on the world through film, music, theater and other avenues, what has been the biggest accomplishment that it has done so far?

Phoenix 4 Productions has been an amazing ride. I don't regret anything. My biggest takeaway from Phoenix 4 and the team throughout the years has been the grass root marketing. Our numbers are real. We've sold out almost every venue we've had an event at for plays, screenings, and charities. I have now teamed up with the DMA Agency in Los Angeles (www.thedmaagency.com) and will be launching our international networking hub at Phoenix 4 this summer. I'm extremely excited about our next chapter.

I know you’ve been back in LA recently, and I know that is exciting for you. Tell me what excites you most about LA?

The energy.... LA has that energy to make you push to be the greatest version of yourself. I will always be a Georgia boy. Los Angeles is part of my ever changing storyline. Los Angeles operates in an unorthodox manner. I am also very unorthodox. That is what excites me. That anything can and will happen.

I've had the privilege of listening to your song "Get Your Back off the Wall" and I love it. Thank you for sharing it! I heard influences of Michael Jackson as well as Prince in the style of the music and lyrics.
Am I accurate on at least two performers who influenced you in music?

Yeah my sound....  what I'm actually discovering is a combination of the greats. I've been influenced by the best throughout time. I have a very diverse background. I like to keep people guessing. This is a journey of self discovery. I'm growing every day

Who would you like to collaborate with in music and or film?

Steven Spielberg, Justin Timberlake, Justin Bieber, Adele, Denzel Washington, Kirk Franklin, Christopher Nolan, Scooter Braun, Ariana Grande, Brandy, Leonardo Dicaprio, Lee Daniels, Oprah, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Timberland, Pharrell, Andre 3000, Lindsay Hartley, Viola Davis, Meryl Streep, JLO, Deitrick Haddon, Aaron Paul, I mean the list goes on and on.

Did you write the song and if so what inspired you?

I did write it. I actually wrote half the song in 2008 and in the summer of 2016. I'm influenced by house music. I wanted to inspire people to essentially let go of whatever is holding them back. I want people to let go and get their back off the wall. Life is too short to be held down by your circumstances, people, and obstacles ... basically anything or anyone standing
in your way. We have everything in us to be a success. We just have to believe it.

Tell me about your "The RUN Saga" films. What is your vision in the films and how they will impact the world?

The RUN Saga is based off the inner look of people from all walks of life and how their separate circumstances and trials are all connected. The saga is a stylized dramatic thriller that blends the world of a dark Gotham setting with elements of Neo Noir and Italian Nerolism. I'm planning to produce out of the saga within 2017-2020;
BREATHE (2017), RUN (2018), ESCAPE (2019), & FREEDOM (2020)
This series is going to push the envelope and draw attention to every day social problems that families face around the world. People are too comfortable with what they know. My job is to make you uncomfortable. In that, change will begin within.

How many are in production?

Breathe is wrapping up post production. We will be looking to shoot 52 days in Atlanta, Georgia. Run/Escape back to back in 2017.

As a writer, do you have a place that you like to write your scripts?

Not really, I just write when it comes to me. There is special formula. I write scripts after 11:00pm usually because I can think with a clear mindset.

What's or who is the inspiration of your writing the scripts?

It looks like 2017 is going to be full of adventures in film as well as music with the release of your album. What are you looking forward to the most this year?

I'm looking forward to whatever God has. 2016 was a year to prepare. 2017 is the year to inspire.

Are you living your dream?

Not yet, but one day.

I share motivational and inspirational quotes with my readers, is there one you can share?

Work Smarter Not Harder.

Where do see yourself in a year?

It's funny because any other year I could answer that. This year has shown me anything can happen. Wherever God has me, that's where I'll be. One the hardest lesson in my life I’ve had to learn is to not try and control everything. So I'll let God have his way.

Who are your biggest supporters?

My family and friends are my biggest supporters, and I'm thankful for all of them.

He met Oprah "Then this happened. You can't write this stuff. 2016 showed me anything can happen. One of the hardest lessons in my life  and a near death experience to this moment. God's purpose for my life is greater. I had the pleasure of meeting @Oprah last night with her Cast & Crew of the Historic All Female Directed Series #QueenSugar". (from his IG page)

While in LA this past December, Fred met his favorite actor Rami Malek.
